Can someone pls explain this born again verses in the bible for me?
“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again. ‘ The wind blows wherever it pleases.”
I seem confuse.
Please tell me what you understand by that born again verse.
CHANTEL SMITH
So i believe we have to start from the beginning, remember how the devil begailed Eve into sexuality. In the sight of God it is a sin. Generally it remains a sin because God would not suggest any filth to come upon hes children ,rather God would not even let men think of such things thus ,adam and eve without knowledge could be naked in the garden of eden before the deed was done, because they hadn’t had the knowledge only after the devil persuaded it was good.
So coming to the born again verse, when each person’s mother give birth to them they present life of a child but the child she gave birth to was created physically through sex ,not something God indulge in. So in order to really proclaim you come from God you need to go through spiritual rebirth. Meaning when you know right from wrong you will repent make God your savor and God will cleanse you internally from what you came from or from the deed your parents ommited to in the first place ,thus everyone need to be born again and many doesnt know it. You only becone a through believer when you know and act upon this.

It means humans will give birth to humans and spirit will born spirits which then means that for a man to be spiritual he must have a spiritual father who is our Lord God Almighty, so therefore to be born again in that verse means to be a spiritual person.

To be born again means that, you willingly deny yourself (that is, confess your sins unto the Lord) and accept to follow Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith. I have provided you with some bible verse concepts which will give you a more understanding of what being a born again means. God bless you
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
John 3:5
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
1 Peter 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
Romans 6:3
Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
1 Peter 1:23
for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.
Acts 2:38
Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 3:3 “Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
First Peter 1:22-23 “Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God.”
John 3:6-7 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.”
Jesus is still speaking to Nicodemus and trying to show him that we must be born of the Spirit; the Holy Spirit, as Jesus used the word “Spirit” as a proper noun, meaning that the Spirit is a Person and is the Third member of the Trinity.
First Peter 1:2-4 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.”
Ephesians 2:5-6 “even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
Once more Paul writes about us being raised from the dead from that which our trespasses had caused. We had to be “made alive” by God’s divine will. Paul writes as if this is already a done deal as he sees us as already having been “raised up with him” and we are now “seated…with him in the heavenly places.”
John 3:8 “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Jesus shows the essence of the Spirit of God, although not seen by human eyes, we can see His effect on the believer’s life just like the invisible wind blows and you can see the effects and hear the sounds.
Conclusion
The late Adrian Rogers once said if you’re born once, you’ll die twice but if you’re born twice, you’ll die once. By dying twice, he meant a physical and then a spiritual death (Rev 21:8) and born twice means you’re physically born and then spiritually born and if so, you’ll die only a physical death and at that point, you’ll receive eternal life. If you have repented and forsaken your sin and then trusted in Christ, you have been born again, from above, by God Himself.
