When considering studying, my online course comsist of assignments and readings. A whole chapters takes about hours to complete. So i mainly take another 5hours with just righting a report. So in full, i study a good 10 hours a day.

I study for at least 8 hours a day. Sometimes i think to myself, maybe as a software programmer i should even spend more time studying.

      How and Why I Study for 8+ hours A Day;
For almost a year now, I have been able to study for long hours, sometimes 8 and even a bit more at times. When I entered university, I realized that I would have to work harder and harder to get my work done on time. With all my implications for dawg in technology, I had to better manage my time if I wanted to be involved in causes that are close to my heart.

      Why study for long hours?
It may not be relevant for everyone to study for 8+ hours in a row. It depends on the workload you have actually. By studying software programming, I have a lot of team projects, readings, and exams. In addition to my university studies, I am president of a student club for dawg in engineering, and I have a YouTube channel, an Instagram account with more than 30,000 subscribers… Let’s say I have a lot of things to do!

Studying for 8+ hours without stopping?
No, not without stopping. When I say working for 8 hours, I count the breaks necessary to maintain good productivity. We must also eat! Here is a typical daily schedule for me though:

7 to 9 am: Alarm clock, shower, preparation
9 to 10 am: Breakfast while watching a TV show
      10 to 1 pm: Study
1 to 2 pm: Lunch with a TV show
      2 to 6 pm: Study
      6 to 8 pm: Dinner + Break
      8 to 10 pm: Study

Umm 🙂 that’s it for me. So How many hours do i study a day? That should be approximately 8 to 10 hours.

      • it depends on one’s country, state, city.
      • it depends how many hours do you sleep.
      • it depends how many hours you can study.
      • it depends on your own health condition
      • it depends on the environment you are studying.
      • it depends on your own interest.
      • it depends on your quality of attention towards study.
      • it depends on how much you can grasp.
      • it depends on your practice.
      • it depends on your time management.
      • Last but not least how you good you are at your studies & how you respect your families.

some study at night while others are sleeping
some study at day time for practice.

Now I’m studying a new profession and it takes a lot of time. And also it’s my last year at university and it’s also takes a lot of time. So more than 8 hours.

I do study roughly 17 hours a day as an IT technician. My job description is a killer type and demands an enormous amount of time.

But i love it though, because it happens to be my passion, so i get joy while I work and to an extent I don’t really feel like I’ve worked too much.

Although sometimes i feel guilty like my wife is so abandoned by me, we don’t live together, she visits twice a week, and I can’t believe even when she visits, I don’t really have time to spend with her. And sometimes deep in me i feel guilty.

Infact, she even thinks I don’t love her, but truly i do. Only spare time I don’t have, and trying so hard to readjust my timing and working schedule.

Though I don’t feel the pain working 17 hours daily, but I think slowly it’s destroying my marriage and keeping me away from my children. If I could adjust my timing and work atleast 12 hours a day, that would be my joy and for my family too. 2020 upcoming mindset.
